Kinkaku-ji (The Golden Temple) is gold, so why isn’t Ginkaku-ji
(The Silver Temple) silver ? They say the temple was given the name Ginkaku-ji
only later after it was built in contrast to Kinkaku-ji, and that there was
never any intention of making it silver. I created thi work to remind everyone
of the surprise they felt on discovering that Ginkaku-ji isn’t silver.
